These were developed for my own use using Synthmaker or Synthedit and are therefore PC only.

I have also ported a few of  my designs as Reaktor ensembles .

Free to download and use as you wish, but please don't re-distribute.

If you find them useful please consider donating towards hosting costs etc.

FL4TT3RY 2

This is a gentle, squashy compressor intended for use on buses, though it also works well on channels.

Available as a VST plugin or as a REAKTOR ensemble.

5ORCERY

“Meta-multiband” compressor using dynamic EQ filters instead of a traditional cross-over network. Combined with the FL4TT3RY2 compressor algorithm, the result is extremely transparent multi-band compression with none of the usual un-wanted side-effects.

Available as a VST plugin only.

L3V3LL3R

This is a faithful model of the (literally) legendary "Leveller" hardware compressor from the 60s. These units are extremely rare and collectable due to the fact that less than one of them was ever made and sold…

On the plus side, this did make it possible for me to collect together ALL surviving examples, and thereby create a modelled vst version that is actually more like the original units than the original units were themselves.

Available as a VST plugin or as a REAKTOR ensemble

L3V3LL3R-X3

This is a “meta-multiband” version of the L3V3LL3R, with three band-limited L3V3LL3Rs driving a pair of dynamic shelving filters plus a gain stage.

This means that, unlike a conventional multi-band compressor which will introduce constant phase anomalies around the cross-over frequencies, this one only messes with the phase while actually processing the signal.

Available as a VST plugin or as a REAKTOR ensemble

G8

The perfect digital noise gate that all the analogue ones were trying to model…

IQ4gui

The dynamic equaliser plug, which I built way back in january 2005, and which has since acquired a bit of a cult following…

Graphics designed by NOVAFLASH

Available as a VST plugin only.

I was proud to be included in a “top ten freeware” list compiled by Mike Senior, author of 'Mixing Secrets For The Small Studio' and Sound On Sound Magazine's 'Mix Rescue' & 'Mix Review' columns
